The Great Producer J-Dilla passed on February 10, 2006, 3 days after his 32nd Birthday.
To remember his passing the J-Dilla foundation is holding a concert for “Dilla Day” this coming February 10th 2012
Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey, Dilla’s mother, put in the call asking for Danny to get involved and lay down a song on a new Dilla beat how could he say no?
If you’re the D, the Midwest or anywhere in plane ticket distance hit up the Dilla Day celebration that night at Michigan’s famed Filmore.
